MAC Mocha Blush

This beautiful blush has high pigmentation and is a neutral brown colour. It is beautiful and well worth the money.

MAC: Mineralize Skinfinish

After SOOOOOOO long of wanting to try the product everyone raves about, i bought it. It is 'MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural' in medium plus. I have to say, I now know what the raving of this was about. It is a great finish and does not look powdery but makes makeup last all day. It is one of the best setting powders I have ever tried.

MAC: Eyeshadows in Coquette and Seedy Pearl

These two MAC eyeshadows are stunning. Coquette glides on smoothly and is a very pigmented colour. It is an olive green tone which surprisingly looks amazing on the eyes. Seedy Pearl turns out more sheer and you don't see the pinky/purple tone that well. It looks more white on the eyes but is a stunning highlight.

Eyeliners

These eyeliners were on sale at shoppers the other day for such a cheep price. I only own black and brown eyeliner so I decided for the occasional times I want to use coloured eyeliners, I would use these. They are not the smoothest, and you have to go over the line a few times to get good pigmentation. Well what do you expect for $2.50?

Annabelle Eyeshadow Haul!

I recently discovered that i hardly have any purple eyeshadow so I went out and bought 2 Annabelle eyeshadows. I unfortunately tossed the packaging so I don't know the names. There is a light purple and a dark purple. These colours are not that pigmented and I had to go over with my brush a few times to get the pigmentation I wanted. These colours are gorgeous! They are good cheep alternatives for more expensive brands. I am overall happy with my purchases for only $5 each!

Face Care Mini Haul

I was in need of a new cleanser so I decided to try for the first time the "Garnier Skin Naturals" cleanser. It smells wonderful, basically just really clean. I don't have sensitive skin so it works well for me. I also bought the "Garnier Skin Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller". I have heard so many raving reviews about this product. I have been wanting to buy it for over a year. I do not have puffy under eyes but I do have dark circles. Over time this is suppose to minimize them so I will have to see how it goes. I love the overall Garnier brand and I have always been happy with their products.

Nicole Nail Polish

I saw this nail polish in Shoppers Drug Mart for about $10 CAD and I had to get it. Its a beautiful purpley/pink and sparkily! It goes on thick so you only need one or 2 coats. The only problem is the smell. All nail polish smells bad, this smells terrible. I can't stand it.

Glitter Eyeliner

The Glitterama Liquid Eyeliner retails for about $10 CAD. It comes in many stunning colours so I chose gold. It goes on smoothly but you need to go over the line a few times to increase the glitter. It is overall beautiful and a great buy for a cheep price.

Tutorial: Winter Wonderland

It is a icy and wintery stunning look with tones of shimmer.

Step 1: Apply a base to the eye, I used "Two Faced Shadow Insurance"

Step 2: On top, apply a white base to the eyelid, I used "NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil" in "Milk" and blend it in with your finger

Step 3: Apply a white shimmery shadow on the brow bone, on the first half of the eye, in the tearduct and under the first portion of the eye. I used "Ploof" by MAC

Step 4: Apply a light pinky/whitish matte eyeshadow between the brow bone and the eyelid. I used "Yogurt" by MAC

Step 5: Apply a grey shimmery colour on the outer portion of the eye. I used a colour from my "88 warm pallet" by "Costal Scents"

Step 6: Use the same grey colour and place it under the eye lining the eye on the outer portion of the eye

Step 7: Use a lighter silvery blue or silvery pink in the centre of the eyelid

Step 8: Go over the centre of the eyelid with "Ploof" again

Step 9: Line the eyes with a black eyeliner then apply mascara

Tutorial: Wonder Woman Smoaky Eyes

For Halloween I decided to be Wonder Woman. Many makeup tutorials had a neutral eye with bright red lips for this tutorial. I personally do not like lipstick or anything other than lipgloss on my lips so I decided to do a dark smokey eye for Wonder Woman to intensify the look sense it is Halloween and you can go crazy.

Step 1: Prim the eye, I used ‘Two Faced Shadow Insurance’

Step 2: Use a black base and place it all over the lid, I used ‘Black Bean’ by NYX

Step 3: Get a black eye shadow, I used Urban Decay ‘Perversion’ and place it all over your lid then blend it out to soften it

Step 4: Use a grey (I used Urban Decay Gunmetal) and place it above the lid to make a fading effect then under the eye lining the eyes to make a intense line

Step 5: Use ‘Perversion’ again and concentrate it in the crease

Step 6: Highlight the inner tear duct and the brow bone

Step 7: Line the eyes with black eyeliner. I used Urban Decay ‘Zero’

Step 8: Put on your favorite mascara

Tutorial: Zombie Bride

I was inspired for this look by the "Tarte Halloween 101 look" I do not own any Tarte products to I substituted my own and it looks similar. This look is too intense to wear out on a normal day but is great for a glammed Halloween zombie look.

Step 1: Prime your eyes. I use "Two face shadow insurance"

Step 2: Get a light pink eyeshadow colour, (i used "Da Bing" from MAC) and place it all over your lid and all the way up to your browbone.

Step 3: Get a purple eyeshadow (I used "Ecstasy" by Urban Decay) and place it all over your lid

Step 4: Get a grey eyeshadow (I used "Gunmetal" from Urban Decay) and a round brush and place it lining the bottom and top eye thickly. Use it as the creese colour in the upper lid

Step 5: Line the eyes with a black eyeliner all the way around, even into the tearduct (I used "Zero" by Urban Decay)

Step 6: Put on black mascara

Step 7: Either place a blood red, a purple or a nude lipstick or gloss on your lips to complete the zombie look (I used the purple tinted lipgloss "English Accents" by MAC)

Tutorial: Pink and Gold

This look has become one of my favourite simple and wearable makeup looks. It is a gold in the inside and pink on the outer lid.

Step 1: Prime the eye, I use "Two faced shadow insurance"

Step 2: Get "Rubenesque" paintpot from MAC and place it in the inner half of the lid as a base for the gold

Step 3: Get "NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil" in "Strawberry Milk" and place it on the outer half of the eye as a base for the pink.

Step 4: Use "All that Glitters" eyeshadow from MAC and place it on top of the gold base

Step 5: Use "Da Bing" eyeshadow from MAC and place it over the pink base

Step 6: Highlight your inner tear duct. I used "Ploof" from MAC

Step 7: Highlight your brow bone to soften the harsh line and transition it to skin colour. I used "Blanc Type" from MAC

Step 8: Put mascara and eyeliner on the eyes and your ready to go!

Tutorial: Making it Easy

This is a simple makeup tutorial from the MAC mineralize eyeshadow trio in "making it easy"

Step 1: Prime the eyes. I use "Two Face Shadow Insurance"

Step 2: Take the pinkish lid colour and spread it all over the lid.

Step 3: Use the dark cranberry colour and place it in your crease concentrating it in the corner of your eye

Step 4: Take the middle highlight colour and place it in your inner eye area

Step 5: Take "Blanc Type" by MAC and place it as the browbone highlight leaving a smooth transition.

Step 6: Add eyeliner and mascara and your done :)

MAC: Making it Easy

I recently went to MAC and decided to pick up "Making it Easy" from their In the Groove collection a while back. My MAC stores still had the eyeshadow trios and so I fell in love with this one. I wanted something wearable, unlike most of the others that came in bright colours I could not wear to school. This trio is STUNNING and seems to have colours directed towards the lid, highlight and crease. Although it doesn't look it, it is a coral look and is stunning. A tutorial will be up soon on this look using only this eyeshadow trio. Overall I would repurchase and I give it 4.5/5 stars. Defiantly worth picking up

Another Lotion Haul

Over the summer I went to numerous countries including Fiji! In Fiji I noticed that a lot of stores sold the "Reniu" lotion in many different smells. I decided to pick up the scent "watermelon infusion". This smells amazing! It smells exactly like watermelon mixed with other fruity scents. It is a body butter so it's thick and very moisturizing.

In summer, I also went to "Bath and Body Works" where I fell in

love with their Summer Vanillas scent in Berry. Unfortunately this is limited edition. This smell reminds me of summer. It has a strong berry smell and is extremely moisturizing. It is an excellent buy, especially for the price and well...just smells AMAZING! I am totally obsessed with this scent. I already own the body splash and lipgloss in this scent too.

Love and Beauty Nail Polish Haul

I love the Love and Beauty nail polishes. They are sold at Forever 21 for $3.50 and actually good quality. They stay on my nails forever. The only problem with them is that they are difficult to get off. They come in a wide range of beautiful colours and the colours do not have names. The dark blue colour comes out true to colour on the nails. I only needed one coat to cover my nails and it is stunning. The pink, I am in love with. It also comes out true to colour. However, you need a couple of coats of it to show up fully. Overall, I am in love with these nail polishes and they are well worth the money.

PINK Mini Haul!

A Victoria's Secret Pink store has recently moved into the mall closest to me. I went in first day and bought these 2 lovely new body mists. The body mists were called 'Pink with a splash'. I bought 2 because they were 2 for $25. The first one is 'Warm and cozy' and the second is 'sweet and flirty'. These both have delicious indescribable scents. However, they don't last long at all. Less then an hour maybe. It gets to be a hassle to keep spraying them throughout the day. I will not be buying more of these although I do LOVE the smells.

Bath and Body Works Perfume Haul

A while ago I went to one of my favourite stores, "Bath and Body Works" and picked up one perfume and two body mists. The perfume was originally $30 but on sale for 75% off! I just had to buy it. I only owned 1 "Bath and Body Works" perfume before which was old. In this picture I show the difference in the packaging and size. When they remadethe packaging their perfumes jumped from $20 to $30. This smell is a spin off of their Sweet Pea smell and smells amazing! It is not overpowering but stays on you for a big portion of the day.

While at "Bath and Body Works" I also notised their limited edition Simply Signature products. I have too much lotion and I was in love with the smells so I had to pick up 2 of the scents. I picked up Passionfruit which smells amazing and fruity and Tangerine which smells like tangerine with a tangy citrus twist.

These both smells amazing but however, sense they are body sprays, do not last very long.

Mini NYX Haul and Swatches

I went to the Drug Store the other day and picked up 2 new "NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils" I picked up 2 gorgeous colours. The first colour was "Cottage Cheese" which is a white eyeshadow base with a stunning shine. The next colour is "Oyster" which is a stunning purple/pink colour with a beautiful shine. Both these colours are highly pigmented and are extremely cheep. Defiantly worth the money.

I decided to swatch the Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils I own. These swatches are only 1 sweep of the pencil so you can see how extremely pigmented they are! (Left to right) Black Bean, Strawberry Milk, Baby Blue, Yogurt, Oyster, Cottage Cheese, Milk.

Lipgloss Haul! #2

I am so sorry, it has been forever sence I last updated! This is because of exams at school then I was gone for all of July to Australia and New Zealand. Now that I am back, I am starting to get back in the swing of things.
So anyways, my friend got the "Lancome Jucy Tubes" for her birthday and did not want them. So she gave me 3 of them! They are adoriable. They give sheer colour and smell like smoothies! I am in love with them. Then i went to Bath and Body Works where I haven't been for a while. I saw they had a bunch of new lipglosses and had a special offer, 3 for $15. I fell in love with these scents and just had to get them. The first one if from the cop cakes collection and is in the flavour 'strawberry'. I smelled the rest of the collection and didn't like the other lipglosses. This one smells exactly like strawberries! It also gives a beautiful shine to your lips when you put it on. The next one is from the limited edition Hot Summer collection and is in the flavour 'Mandarin Nectar'. It smells exactly what it sounds like, very citrusy. It goes on almost clear. The next lipgloss is from the same collection and in in the flavour ' Luscious Starfruit'. Again, it goes on basically clear and smells AMAZING! It smells very fruity and i can't quite describe the scent. Judging by the name it should smell like starfruit but I never atr starfruit so I wouldn't know. These lipglosses are all long wearing but sticky.

Forever 21: Love and Beauty Mini Haul

I have tried pink and purple Love and Beauty nail polishes in the past and loved them. So i decided to buy the red one. I wasn't that happy. Its really hard to get off and the coour isn't that special. As for the 5 mini nail polishes and the lipglosses...they came in a kit. The lipglosses are sheer and taste and smell awful. I gave them to a friend. As for the nail polishes, they are pretty think so you need to stick on at least 3 coats for the thickest colour. The 3 pink nail polishes look practically the same The purple is beautiful but really thin. It was $10 for the 5 nail polishes and 5 lip glosses so I guess I should of expected cheep products...

Mini Haul- Lips and Smells

I poped in Lush quickly for their new 'Lip Scrubs'. I bought one in Bubblegum which smells amazing! It smells and taste like snowfaerie. You take a bit of product on your finger and scrub it on your lips to remove ruffness, smoothen and soften lips. After you are done you can lick it off because it is sugar! It taste amazing! I then went to Bath and Body Works to pick up some of their new summer scents. I smelled them all but the one I fell in love with was the Berry smell. I restrained from buying the lotion and shower gell sence I have so many already. I bought the body splash and lipgloss. It smells so amazing! The body splash is quite long wearing for a body splash and I am in love with it. The lipgloss has sparkles in it and also is long wearing having the same scent as the body splash.

MAC Blanc Type vs. Annabelle Eye Shadow

So i finially did back to MAC for the first time and got MAC's Blanc Type eye shadow for free! I have been searching for a perfect matte highlight for a while now. I have plenty of shimmery ones like 'Ploof' and slightly coloured ones like 'Yogurt' which is a light pink. So in the mean time I have been using a light beige eye shadow by Annabelle. It is pretty good. However, I feel it is not long lasting enough and a bit chalky. When I got Blanc Type eyeshadow I was surprized to discover that it was frightenly simular to the Annabelle eye shadow. Blanc Type however, is higher quality so it does not appear chalky and it is long wearing. I strongly prefer Blanc Type over the Annabelle eye shadow. However, the Annabelle eye shadow is deffinently a compariable and cheep dupe.

Small MAC Haul!

I was really running out of my 'M.A.C. Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation' in 'C3' so I decided to order another one of those. I also jumped on offering a 'M.A.C. Tinted Lip Conditioner SPF 15' in 'Petting Pink'. This was sold out on the M.A.C. website for the longest time! It finially came back in stock so I got it right away. Now, all the other colours are sold out. This lip conditioner is my best friend's favourite one. It is the only lip product she uses, she refuses to use anything else. She bought 3 of them so she was stalked up for a long time. I figured, if she loved it so much, I should give it a try. I also bought a 'M.A.C. Lipglass' in 'Perennial High Syle' from the Liberty of London collection. I already own a lipglass from this collection in 'English Accents' jsut because of the name. However, this one looks beautiful! It is a pinky coral colour and gives a beautiful and natural colour to my lips. I heard people raving about this lipglass and decided to give it a shot. Also, the packaging is SO CUTE! I am a sucker for limited edition packaging.

2 New MAC Eyeshadows + Review

I bought the MAC eyeshadow in 'Yogurt' because I was looking for a matte highlight colour. This is slightly pink but a beautiful colour with high pigmentation. I also repurchesed 'Naked Lunch'. I went through one of these and loved it! I decided to buy it again. It is extreamly natural looking on my skin tone (NC20) and just looks like my eyelid with a bit of shimmer. It is beautiful! Below, I put in a pallet my fav MAC eyeshadows.

Lipgloss Haul!

I decided to buy 6 new lipglosses, 4 from Bath and Body Works and 2 from M.A.C. The first M.A.C. lipgloss is from the Liberty of London collection and is called 'English Accents'. The reason I bought the lipgloss is because of the name. I love English accents and the packaging is so cute! The colour is a purpleish pink tint. The M.A.C. lipglee i bought is called 'Goldensoft' and has a beautiful golden sparkle to it. It has SO MUCH shimmer and is not sticky at all. However, it is not long wearing. All the Bath and Body Works lipglosses are sticky but sparkily. They are all long wearing. I got flavours 'Limeade' which is a lime smell and is sheer, 'Whipped Vanilla' which gives colour to the lips, is shiny and smells great, 'Dipped Strawberry' which gives a tint to the lips and smells like strawberries dipped in chocolate and 'Blue Colada which is sheer and has a blue sparkle to it.

Cleanser and Toner Reviews

I bought a new cleanser and a toner. I bought the new 'L'Oreal Go 360 Clean' cleanser. The formula itself is nothing special. However it was worth it for the scrubet. It works so well, all you need to do is pore a little on the scrubet then cleanse your face with it. The Garnier toner is also nothing special. It smells amazing and does its job of cleaning your face better. Both products are relitivly cheap so they are worth the price. In Canada the cleanser is around $15 but in the USA its only around $5 which is so much cheaper!

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque Review!

I heard many reviews about the 'Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque' and when I went to the states for vacation I went to Ulta and bought it. It was extreamly cheep, only around $4 and theres TONES of product. As you can see in the packaging I got 33% more then normal. This is a tipical old fashioned green face mask that smells like mint....mmmmmm. It claims to dry up pimples, rinse away blackheads and shrink pores. I however do not have any pimples or blackheads so I am unable to tell you if it works for those purpouses. However it did shrink my pores and make my face feel refreshed and skin super smooth! I use this mask once a week and especially for the price, its totally worth it! I am not into face masks but I do love this one.

Bath and Body Works- Anti-Bacterial Haul

Everyone knows Bath and Body Works always has offers like 5 for $20 etc. I decided to take advantage of that when I relized I was running out of soap. I bought the 'White Citrus Foaming Hand Soap', 'Pink Grapefruit Moisturizing Hand Soap', 'Sweet Pea Moisturizing Hand Soap', and 'Fresh Market Apple Foaming Hand Soap'. These all smell AMAING and do the job. I then decided to pick up 5 for $5 hand sanitizers. They all smell amazing and of cource, do the job.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils!

In Canada, NYX is not here. I recently went to the states and picked up a few of their famous Jumbo Eye Penicils. (From left to right) Black Bean, Yogurt, Strawberry Milk, Milk, Baby Blue. These are so cheep at $4 a pencil and act as a coloured cream base. They have the same function as a MAC shadestick except they are MUCH cheeper and they have more pigmentation. I am extreamly pleased with these products and now i know what everyone is raving about.

Nails, Nails, Nails!!!

Over the past month I bought some beutiful nail polishes. I bought 2 nail polishes from Nicole by O.P.I., a nail art nail polish, a light pink O.P.I. nail polish with a green shine and a Sephora by O.P.I. glittery purple nail polish named 'It's Bouquet With Me'. All the nail polishes are very thick except the light pink which you have to apply a few layers. However it is a very beautiufl colour and very unique.

Victoria's Secret Haul!

Victoria's Secret has this offer going on where you can buy 7 for $35 of the secret garden smells plus one free so basically 8. I decided to take advantage of that. I usually hate flowery smells. However, these smells smelt amazing! I decided to pick up the Pure Seduction and the famous Love Spell body butters. I can't quite put my finger on any of the smells but they smell amazing! I then decided to pick up the Love Spell body splash and the Berry Kiss body splash which smell fantastic! The next 4 I picked up were lotions. They were Berry Kiss, Sweet Daydream, Endless Love and Secret Charm. I really wanted to also pick up some Love Rush iteams because there is no Victoria's Secret near me but I figured I am stocked up in lotion for a long time.
