Some Amazing Lipglosses

Here is a few of some amazing lipglosses I own. I am in love with them all. The mini lipglosses were free at Sephora as a birthday gift. All you need to do is sign up for a beauty insider card, which is free, and they give you 3 of those in your birthday month. The next is 'My Favourite Lipbalm' by CoBigalow which has a nice shine, not sticky at all and doesn't really taste/smell like anything. The next one is also by CoBigalow and is minty. It has a mint smell, flavour and freshens your breath. The next is Liplicous Tasty Lip Color in Frozen Daiquiri. As you can see, I used this a LOT. It gives a light pink colour lip, but not much colour. After all, its a lipgloss afterall. It is extreamly shiny. The next one is Liplicous Tasty Lip Color in Diped Strawberry. I loved it when I bought it, but now it smells a little strange. In any case, it gives amazing colour. It smells like chocolate strawberries. The next colour is Liplicous Tasty Lip Color in Orange Kiss and just smells like oranges. The next three are MAC, the taller one is the Dazzlegloss in 'Smile'. The round pan form of the MAC lipgloss was a limited edition iteam I got as a present.

Mascara Review

(Bottom to top) I don't have a huge collection of mascara because you need to toss them every 3 months. 'Great Lash' is the classic mascara with a big wand. It works great but I don't see much difference for other brands. Personally I think most mascara are the same...I do love 'Lash Blast' waterproof mascara. I am a swim instructor and when rushing to work after school sometimes I don't have time to take off my makeup so waterproof mascara comes in handy. The 'Bad Girl Blue' is okay...I don’t see how it differs from other mascaras. The blue is pretty cool though. I got it as a sample at Sephoria. My favorite mascara is ‘L’Oreal Telescopic’. I love the thin wand that allows you to get to those hard to reach lashes. Do not buy really expensive mascaras, it’s not worth it for 3 months and personally, they are all so similar. The only acceptation is the vibrating mascaras, those work wonders. :)

Prime and Conceal + Amazing Lotion

I recently bought the ‘MAC Studio Sculpt Concealer’ in NW20. I absolutely love the coverage this gives. It gives kind of a thick creamy coverage good for under eye circles. It comes in the same type of container as the paint pots however it is not filled to the rim. It is like…75% full so it is pretty expensive for its small size. It’s about $20 CAD. The next thing is a review on primers. The ‘Two Faced Shadow Insurance’ in my opinion works the same as the ‘Urban Decay Primer Potion’. The only difference is packaging. The ‘Urban Decay Primer Potion’ in the picture is the mini sample size. The ‘Urban Decay Primer Potion’ has a wand which I love and comes with more primer then the Two Faced Shadow Insurance. However, ‘Urban Decay Primer Potion’ needs to be cut open to reach the entire product which could be quite a hassle. Two Faced Shadow Insurance is in an easy squeeze tube. The lotion I bought is from Target and is Apple Body Butter. It smells amazing, smells like actual green apples!

Winter is Comming...Lotion Reviews

So its the winter season and in winter skin and hair gets dry. I used to have a huge lotion collection with like 20 lotions. Basically I used most of them up, now I only have 7. Sence it is winter, I am now using more lotion on my body to keep my skin soft. Most of these lotions are from Bath and Body Works which is one of my favourate stores. The very first lotion is 'Aromatherapy Energy Body Lotion in Orange Ginger'. This smells soooo good I cannot discribe the smell. It is a lively smell that wakens my sences. This is the only Aromatherapy I like. The second lotion is 'Black Rasberry Vanilla' As you can see, it is very well loved and I have used a lot of it. It is a wintery berry smell and is just amazing. The next lotion is 'Pink Grapefruit' and I think it is actually discontinued. I know you can still buy the handsoap though :) This smells like...well grapefruit but a light not overwelming smell. know it sounds grose but it actually smells really good. The next lotion I just bought is called 'Yuetide Pear Vanilla' and is a limited edition christmas lotion also from Bath and Body Works. I have a mini one too that I bring to school and everyone ask to use some. Even my guy friends and I say 'are you sure? Its a girly smell' They take it out of my hands and use it, they don't care. The next is a 'Hollister Laguna Beach' lotion that just reminds me of summer. Lastly is a 'Sweet Pea' body lotion in a really pretty package. I bought it because I loved the way it looked and I also am in love with the sweet pea smell. Its a flowery smell which usually I'm not fond of (I like fruity smells) but this actually smells amazing.

MAC Paint Pots and Brushes Review

Hey everyone, so today I am doing a review on my two new MAC paint pots and my new MAC brushes. The two new MAC brushes I hav are the 190 foundation brush and the 181 kabookie brush. The 190 applies the foundation beautifully without streakyness our trouble. Its $40 CAD and I know thats pricey. I buy one MAC brush a month and just build my collection for the essntials. MAC brushes are high quality and are more like an investment. They last sooooo long if you clean them right and are well worth the money. I really love the finish this brush gives. The 181 was part of the 'Pinkzapoppin! Mineralize Kit' so its a mini. The full size is about $50 but this kit was $70 and it came with a mineralize skin finish, a blush and a mineralize eyeshadow duo so i just bought that instead. I don't mind if its slightly smaller. This brush gives a wonderful finish. There are some brushes at MAC that you could just my drugstore brand and it works the same, not this one. This is the best powder brush I have ever tried. Moving on to paint pots. Actually these are my first paint post....I never tried them before. To the left is Rubenesque and to the right is Fresco Rose. MAC paint pots serve as a good base for eyeshadow or just your overall eyeshadow. I have never seen a colour like Rubenesque before. Its like golden/peachy pink/yellowish/so many colours and I'm sure its flattering on all skin tones. Fresco Rose is just a really nice purple/pink colour. I just really love pinks. :) Just a note, I am NOT payed to do this, they are 100% my own oppinion and thoughts.

Quo Colour Corrector Review + LA Colors Trio Review

I heard people raiving about colour correctors....The Quo Colour Corrector honestly....I hate it. The green does not blend in at all and same with the other colours, they seem to go around the blemish making it green/other colours. It was $20 CAD and a waste of money... The LA Colors Trio (in Tender Rose, Sweet Mocha, Roxy Rust) on the other hand was purchaced at Forever 21 for only $3 CAD! I had nothing to lose. It actually works pretty good. It has a lot of sparkles (I love sparkles) and actually the pigmentation is strong. I'm very surpried nd pleased. Its not as good as my MAC shadows but pretty close, and for $3 you can't go wrong.

November Favs!

Over November I became a fan of many new products, and many old ones. The first pic is the 'O.P.I. drip dry'. It dryes nails instantly and as you can tell I'm almost out :(. Pic number 2 shows my fav nailpolish remover. It is Sephoria by O.P.I. nail polish remover. It comes in 2 sizes, the small is 60 oz and is $8 CAD, the large is $12 and 120 oz. It works very well and the smell is a lot better than most. Becide it i Alyria eye optimizing system. I personally think it works pretty good. I have dark circles under my eyes so these thickin the skin around my eyes because my skin is so thin. I bought it like....2 years ago and it was about $60 CAD. Next is Frizz-Ease Daily Nourishment Leave-in Spray. Do not spray this near roots, it makes them greasy. Because of my part time job as a swim instructor my hair is really damaged because of the chlorine. This helps heat protect it and re-moisterize it. Next is Fuzzy Peach body wash from The Body Shop. Basically...it smells REALLY good, like fuzzy peaches. :) Nivea Gentle Toner work well and is cheep! Its $10 CAD and last forever! Next is St Ives Apricot Scrub 300mL. It also comes in 150mL. The 300mL is about $10CAD and smells soooooo good, and works well :) I actually got it at an insain sale for $2! I think it was a mistake....oh well. Next is Clean and Clear Acne Wash. I don't have acne but I want to be safe and use this to prevent it. I actually bought it because of the pump....I like foaming things....Last but not least is the most beautiful nail polish colour ever! It is Sephora by O.P.I. Mermaid to Order. You basically have to see this amazing colour in person. Because its O.P.I....well its amazing and last so long. It has so many colours like purple, many blues and greens.

MAC Holiday Collection Haul!

Today I went to MAC to purchace their holiday collection iteams. I recently fell in love with their mineralize costmetics. I have heard numerous times that the kabookie from MAC is amazing. So I decided to buy the 'Pinkzapoppin! Mineralize Kit'. It comes with a mini kabookie 181 brush, Love Connection Mineralize Eyeshadow (Duo), Light Flush Mineralize Skinfinish and Dainty Mineralize Blush. These are all beautiful colours and work amazing. I love the brush, it gives a flawless finish. This is about $71 CAD but well worth the money. If you think about it, the individual products would cost much more. (Pic 1 and 2). Pic number 3 is of the mineralize eyeshadows I bought. Left to right: Under Your Spell, Devil May-Care, Love Connection and Play on Plums ($23 CAD each). These colours are beautiful! I adore the pinky purple colour in 'Under Your Spell'. I have not seen any colour like it before and gives a sparkily windery/Christmasy feeling. If you don't like sparkles, don't buy the MAC Holiday collection products. The holiday collection gives me a festive feeling. :)

My Concealing System

First I start off with Smashbox Photo Op Under Eye Brightener under my eyes. This smashbox product is ok...I wouldn't buy it again. It is pretty expencive for its size. About $20 CAD and really small! (Pic 1) I then use MAC shadestick concealer. My shade is SW20. I am really upset these are getting discontinued, I love it. I better stock up! (pic 1). I then use MAC studio fix foundation SPF15 applied with the MAC 190 foundation brush. I then finish with ether the MAC Studio Fix powder in C3 (pic 1) or the Laura Mercier Translucent Lose Powder. (pic 3) All the MAC products work amazingly well and they give me flawless skin and full coverage. Hope you enjoyed :)

Sephoria by O.P.I. Nailpolish Haul!

So the other day I went to Sephoria and bought some nailpolish. The nailpolish they sell is by O.P.I. (my favourate brand of nailpolish). I'm Wired is a peachy pink colour, beautiful for fall and summer, Hgh Maintenance is a bright red and Worth My Weight is from the limited edition Christmas collection. It is a beatiful sparkily gold colour. Usually colours like that come on thin and need many layers. However, this nailpolish to my surprize comes on thick and only needs one or 2 layers. Beautiful for the holiday season. :) Left to right: I'm Wired, Set the Mood, Top Coat, Skinny Jeans, A-ha! Moment, High Maintenance, Sample Sale, Worth My Weight.

Back to MAC?

For those of you who don't know what back to MAC is, it is a program that MAC cosmetics has. When you use up 6 MAC products save the containers! You can bring those 6 containers into any MAC counter and you will recieve a free lipstick. If you take them to a MAC store, you can get a free lipstick, lipgloss or eyeshadow. Its always fun to get free stuff so why not save up your MAC products. Here is my back to MAC baggie so far. Two of the MAC eyeshadows I depotted, thats why they look different.

Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. II Review

Hey everyone. So the other day I bought the Urban Decay Book of Shadows Vol. II. This was about $50 that I bought from Sephoria. The shadows are pretty large and will last a while and highly pigmented. It comes with 16 beatiful shadows, a mini urban decay primer potion and two eyeliners. I am personally not too fond of the eyeliners. The palette includes many cours only found on this palette. The palette offers a wide range of colours and if you are starting off in makeup, this palette will be a good idea to try out. You can't see but Perversion has beautiful purple sparkles in it :)
